In order to prevent any legal issues popping up sometime in the future, this game will no longer be considered your average 'fangame'.

I’ve not been here for a long time, but when my computer broke down suddenly ( and still doesn’t work until today) I’ve had absolutely no chance to get access to the internet somewhere. Now I finally got managed to go online at one of our school’s computers. I don’t have time to check what happened here right now, because I have to log off . I’m so sorry, guys, I feel like a traitor but I didn’t leave you. It’ll try to get my computer repaired soon.

The forums are now kind of...err...expired. They're still there, my ghost walks among the remains...sometimes Ace_Monkey still hangs out..we moved. I can't tell you where to go, though, but if you're serious on helping, send me a pm and I'll give you the link.

I'm sure you can do something for the game. Ask storyteller if he can give you something to do. I'm not the boss, I'm just suggesting.

The whole game won't be finished until some time in 2007 (we're putting loads of effort into this), but Part One (the shortest part) will be finished soon. Say late March or April.

hi there.

I'm the teamleader of the RMI Project (Revival Of Monkey Island), the game we started with this thread (oh so long ago).

yes, the game is still in production, and no, we haven't got anything to show you yet except what's on my website (see my www button) since we moved to a new (secret) forum, things have changed quite a bit.

our artwork is much better then it initially was, we added tons of stuff, but we had our setbacks as well. (like our new forum being down from time to time due to an sql database error)

Currently we're working on completing part 1 of the game and we're slowly getting there. (we're doing this in our spare time, and that ain't much time, unfortunately)

I wish that I could show more already, but it's got to be a BIG surprise.

I can tell you we have bothered to incorporate cutscene movies (avi format) in the game (only 2 finished so far, but they look great)

...for those of you interested to join, contact me by mail and send a sample of your work. We mostly need more background/sprite animation artists if we want to speed things up. Story and other creative writing stuff is pretty much fixed right now. (we've got a 37 page design document)

if you can wait one or two months 'till we finish part 1 you could perhaps be one of the (select few) betatesters.

(no, we won't release this game in parts, but we need to see wether or not we're on the right track)

right now only more artists are needed.

we're working hard on that. (even with the setbacks of late in regard to our developer forum being down, had to re-instate the old one temporarily)

oh, and in case you haven't botherer reading the last ??? posts, the game will be in AGS.
