Fortunately, Unfortunately

Postby Haggis » Sat Apr 30, 2011 12:50 pm

Here we play the Fortunately, Unfortunately game (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fortunately,_Unfortunately ). Basically, one poster posts something positive, the next turns it into something negative again, etc. I'll set things in motion:

Guybrush Threepwood was walking along the beach, whistling a cheerful tune.

Fortunately, the cutlass was extremely blunt and made of plastic, and Guybrush realized he wasn't dead after all.

Unfortunately, Guybrush realized that what he had tripped over was a small, but extremely deadly wild animal.

Fortunately, the extremely deadly, wild animal was knocked unconscious by the blow of Guybrush falling on top of it.

Unfotunately, the deadly, vicious, toxin-secreting animal awoke and sunk its fangs into Guybrush's oxygen hose!

...At least what it thought to be Guybrush's oxygen hose. Fortunately for Guybrush, but unfortunately for the wild animal, it had sunk its fangs right into the body of an even deadlier snake, which now sought revenge for newly made set of holes in its abdomen.

Unfortunately, the snake had really bad eyesight and mistook Guybrush for the animal.

Fortunately, with bad eyesight came bad depth perception, and the snake completely missed Guybrush.

Unfortunately, the snake did hit a coconut palm behind Guybrush, who got knocked out by a coconut that landed on his head.

Fortunately, in his unconscious state, the Voodoo Lady was able to contact Guybrush through his dreams and deliver a very important message...

Unfortunately, the voodoo lady sent a visual message and she had forgotten to put on clothes.

Fortunately, Guybrush woke up just before the Voodoo Lady completely entered his view.
