Everyone, it's with mild pain in my heart that I'm asking this question, but you've probably seen it coming. Back in the day (and I'm talking roughly ten years ago), this forum was positively brimming with activity. We were in the middle of the Golden Age of LucasArts Adventures (yes, I just made that up), and there was lots to discuss. Over the years, familiar names came and went, but we always had a pretty good group of people. Lately though, things have gone awfully quiet. I've tried keeping things interesting with the Forum Games section, which was a success at first, but, let's face it, there just isn't anything to discuss for Monkey Island fans these days.
So, my question to you is: do we keep the forums open, or put them on hiatus? The reason I'm asking is because I don't mind putting time into maintaining these forums if I were to support an active community, but the way things are going now, that's just not the case. If I were to put the forums on hiatus, I would naturally open them up again if there is ever a new Monkey Island game. Also, I'll make sure the content at least would be available to read.
So, what do you think? Keep it open, or close it down?
