Yup. No wav files, though. We only accept mp3 or ogg files.
Anagram: LeChuck= Chuckle
Censoring the word [insert profanity here] is stupid and pointless.

midi files are acceptable too.

they're small and convenient, and produce the best quality.

It's because we're realistic and know that not everything can be in midi format that we go for ogg's. (and mp3's)

(to convert anything to ogg format: download codec and encoder at the official site: http://www.vorbis.com/ )

@Captain Raptor: give the link to those that can actually produce a sample of whatever they'd be helping with. (doesn't have to be big)

I don't want any more deadbeats around, we're already full on those

I don't get this. Isn't it much more work to make mp3's (and ogg's I guess) than midi's? :-? Monkey Island 1 & 2 were entirely "midied" as well, weren't they?

completely depends on the one making the music and the programs he/she uses. (some people find midi easy, others like working with wavs (consequently mp3 and ogg after conversion))

play around with both a bit, and you'll understand pretty quickly.

It's easier for me to compose in midi. It's pleasant to have a score to see what you're doing, what key you're in, what chords you make, etc. I know how to convert it to mp3 too, or how to mix mp3's, or how to record keyboard playings. So I could switch to mp3 at a certain time to create a better sound, or for example to add some sound effects. Well, since both are excepted: I'll see what I'm going to do. :)
