Yes, it's true. And if you pre-order it now on Steam, you'll get SMI:SE free.

Yeah, it's been a known fact for nearly 2 weeks now. There's a pre-order on Steam as well. Anyways, do you think Lucas are going to do a Justin.tv playthrough like last year? As long as they don't make a lot of progress thorugh the game, I'm cool with that. I don't want too much to be spoiled for the actual experience.

You can actually give away your extra copy, so pre-ordering could be an interesting option after all. :)

Yeah but my extra copy is on my Xbox, and I'm planning to get MI 2: SE on Xbox too. :P

Darn it! I wish my computer was up to specs. But it's not. Stupid processor. I've only got a 2.2 GHZ and no money for any sort of upgrading ... This makes me sad.

Don't have either. And cant afford to buy them right now. This is what happens when you are a student - particularly in an expensive foreign country.

You're in London aren't you Fanatic? I'm not surprised about it being expensive anyway, you could get something that'd run it from ebay for not very much. I do think Steam's idea of giving the spare's as gifts as a bit silly though.

Why? There are plenty of people who haven't played Monkey Island yet, and this could be a great way to introduce them to it.

I think it's silly because the majority of people I know either have MI or hate it, so I'm going to end up with SMI again, but with nothing to do with it, as I did with Half Life 2 and Episode 1 when the Orange Box came out; most of my friends don't play games, or they already have the games. I just think there should be an option where I can get MI2 for less and not have an SMI gift.
